Location: Clark Lake YC on Clark Lake, south of Jackson, Michigan which is just over an hour’s drive west of Detroit. (see map and new pictures of landmarks below)
.....

.....
Directions: Exit I-94 onto Route 127 south. Turn left onto Jefferson Road at the light, about 10 mi. south of I-94. About 2 mi. later, turn left onto Hayes Drive (which is the first dirt road east of Eagle Point Rd) in front of a large red barn where there is also a small yellow CLYC burgee sign posted on the corner for your assistance (see photo below). Please note that if you are coming from the east along Jefferson Road, you will first come to Hayes Road opposite a large church about 1/8 of a mile before you come to Hayes Drive.
...

...

Bear right at the fork in the road to enter the CLYC grounds. There is a sign but as you can see below, it can't be seen until the last second.
.....

 .....
Facilities: Launch ramp or hoist, very atmospheric clubhouse, washrooms, showers, meals available. CLYC provides a fine play area (and babysitting) so that mom and dad can yell at each other in peace out on the water.
.....

.....
Camping on club grounds is encouraged - and there are lots of motels in the area.
 .....
Registration: 1800 to 2100 hrs Friday; 0830-1000 hrs Saturday
 .....
Programme: Coffee & doughnuts each morning; lunch both days; delicious BBQ dinner & entertainment Saturday night. 3 races after lunch Saturday; 2 races before lunch Sunday.

Fees:  Entry: about $25 (US) - lunches @ about $3, dinners @ about $7 (US)
.....
.....
Miscellaneous: Challenging winds but a lovely fall atmosphere, fine hospitality, a wonderful club, safe, warm sailing waters (see steam rising from toasty water in phot below while Uncle Al shivers  in crisp air of a lovely fall morning!). It is a unique and exciting experience to share the lake with big fleets of Sunfish, Rebels, Interlakes, etc.
This event is well worth the 6-hour drive from Toronto. <>..........
