In 2024, Serge Toropov and I are planning to do the Chesapeake Cruise with Sue Pilling and Steph Romaniuk (and possibly others) - more or less as indicated below. No more last-minute bail-outs that have lately made us feel a bit like Lucy (above).
We will welcome capable company of course:


Sunday 9 June: arrive Crisfield > launch into Somers Cove > overnight at Somers Cove Marina & Capt. Tyler's: book into Capt. Tyler's


Monday 10 June: Crisfield to Tangier >  book into the Brigadune Inn

Sat 8 June 2024: depart Oakville
Sun 9 June:
arrive & launch at Somers Cove > check in to Capt. Tyler's Motel > group crab dinner at Captain Tyler's Crabhouse? >
Sleep aboard at marina, or follow the luxury model: We plan to return once more to our beloved Captain Tyler's Motel   (Donna  410-968-2220) which is eminently acceptable: clean, very reasonably priced, right near the Marina.

Mon 10 June:
sail about 12 n. miles NW to Tangier Island > via Watts Island, weather permitting
