April 2/3, 2011. I'm
hoping that you can announce it in your newsletter and forward a copy
to all the usual suspects. With the number of support committee members

RACE MANAGEMENT
SEMINAR LEVELS 1 & 2
TORONTO SAILING & CANOE CLUB
APRIL 2nd &
3rd

HRS.
The level 1 participation leads to
certification or recertification of assistant race officers. It offers
the
opportunity to learn fundamental positions and skills required to
effectively
assist the Race Officer in providing a consistent standard of racing as
outlined in the Ontario
and National standards. There are no
prerequisites for this level.
The level 2 segment
reinforces the skills of those choosing to recertify or become Club
Race
Officers and can be used as a natural progression or offer valuable
insight for
Assistant Race Officers. The prerequisite for
this level is attendance in the level 1 or previous level 1
certification.
These seminars
are
open to all Ontario Sailing Association affiliated club members. A
current
“RULES book is required; these may be purchased thru Ontario Sailing.
Registration closes Tuesday March 29, 2011 and may be made thru Ontario
Sailing; the combined course cost is $45.20 less the “RULES” book.
