Race 6: start-1-2-3-1-3-finish. Winds SW at 5 to 10 knots, gusting slightly higher.
Races 7 and 8 (no photos) were sailed on the same course in similar conditions.

Alas, despite the best efforts of our RC, we ended up with a one-tack beat on our first leg, which made a good start all-important.

A nervous Al checks the competition which is well astern, but some boats have worked out to windward and
could be getting better wind further off this leeward shore that might well cause much of what wind there is to lift up and over.

Uncle Al leads Roger and the rest of the "parade" to the windward mark where we will tack around onto our first reaching leg.

The flag on shore and Invasion with Roger and Rae reflect the difference between theory and reality.
The flag fairly screams spinnaker. Not so, replies Invasion.
