Julia and I actually
arrived Monday afternoon but were too busy pitching our tent and
renewing acquaintances over a few beers to take pictures. The day's
culinary highlight was dinner in Clayton at the Harbor Inn Diner (see
photo above borrowed from their web site) with Chuck and Ginny
Jordan who share our view that carting around cooking gear and food to
feed to it is carrying roughing it a bit far at the Rallies. The food
was terrific and the view of a glorious St. Lawrence sunset out the
windows provided an excellent bonus. We dined here Thursday night, too,
with the Ericksons among others, at which time we sat outside on their
lovely deck.
