Island. ... |

| As Dick and
Margie began to sail past Rusho Bay, a cottage owner appeared on a dock
and beckoned them in. Dick in turn, waved to us, and in short order we

Imagine my surprise when the gentleman leaned into my boat and said,
"Al Schonborn, I presume." (or words to that effect). And when he took

... Marty Zonnenberg,
former Commodore and one of the keenest sailors at the Lake Eustis
Sailing Club, home of the Wayfarer's Florida Midwinters!! Since the
LESC has a large, active fleet of Wayfarers, Marty knows a Wayfarer
when he sees one, and he wasn't about to pass up this chance to have a
visit from five Wayfarers! What a pleasant shock it was to happen
across Marty so far from the Florida home with which I had always
associated him!

| Marty's
hobby is restoring old wooden boats and he keeps them all up here at
his summer place on Grindstone Island. ... |

| Never mind
the Antique Boat Show. We got to see our own museum right here! In the
boat house above, are two gloriously perfect motor boats that take you
right back to the days of rum running and the days when even motor
boats
could be beautiful! ... |

| We had a
relaxed and extremely pleasant lunch break with Marty for about an hour. ... |

With the ever
increasing westerlies promising us a lively beat back up the river to
Cedar Point, we decided that this was as far down the river as we
wanted to go. As we got ready to set sail, Margie Harrington chuckled
at the boat chugging past in the distance. She must have eagle eyes
because it took my camera's zoom lens ...
